The Procedure

When being fitted for veneers we will remove about half a millimetre of enamel from the surface of your teeth. This is so they bond correctly and to allow for the added layer of the veneer.

Then, an impression is taken so your bespoke veneers can be created. Although they are long-lasting, they are not considered permanent since they will likely have to be replaced at some point. However, they can last for decades as long as you take care of them properly. Some patients may never need to replace them at all.

Aftercare

After a week after fitting, we will schedule a follow-up appointment. This is to check and polish the veneer and also to make sure you are happy with the result. At this point, we will advise waiting before considering any minor adjustments as it can take a little time to get used to your new teeth.
