  • We can use the scanner to take scans of your teeth. So, no need for any messy impressions, which many people find uncomfortable
  • Digital scans are quicker and can give you faster returns from dental laboratories allowing your treatment to be completed quicker for you.
  • Digital scans are more accurate than impressions (up to 7x more accurate) – as a result more work fits perfectly first time, requiring fewer adjustments and remakes
  • Treatment simulations – our intra oral scanners can use the scan of your teeth to show you the guideline of how your teeth can look after orthodontic treatment. This allows us to complete digital smile design and show before and possible after photos to simulate results of  composite bonding and porcelain veneer
  • Treatment monitoring – digital scans act as a 3D record of your teeth. Allowing us to track changes in your teeth over time and take HD photos of areas of note.

A further investment in digital technology is our ultra low dose 3D CT scanner.

A CB CT scanner is a scanning machine that is used to produce high quality 3D images of a patient’s mouth.If you may need treatments such as implants, extractions and root canal treatments that require a CT scan, this can now be taken in-house using ultra low radiation to achieve the best quality images.

This also allows us to take OPG’s which are xrays of your full mouth and jaw and can be needed for diagnostic purposes. Our dentists will be able to see clear, 3D-images of teeth, jaws, soft tissue, blood vessels, organs and bones. This helps our dentist look further to spot any underlying problems and will provide high level of details for effective and advanced care planning, whilst using the lowest possible radiation dose amongst similar technologies on the market.

Highly recommended ********** I went in for a tooth extraction yesterday. It could have been a troublesome extraction which is why I chose to go to an experienced oral surgeon. Twenty minutes after entering the surgery, I was out. Job done. No pain whatsoever. Today I hardly feel anything. Superb job by Dr Shah - one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. A couple of years ago my daughter had an implant done by Dr Shah. It was a brilliant job. That's one of the reasons I went to see him.
