Amit graduated from Leeds Dental School before gaining experience in practices across London and Hertfordshire, later joining Stag Lane Dental Centre, where he is now Principal Dentist and Clinical Lead.
 
Known for his warm, approachable manner and meticulous attention to detail, Amit takes time to build genuine relationships with his patients and is committed to providing care in a calm, informative and supportive environment. He believes patients should fully understand their oral health and treatment options, regularly using clinical photography, digital scans and X-rays to explain findings clearly and help patients make confident, informed decisions about their care.
 
Amit is passionate about postgraduate education and staying at the forefront of modern techniques. He completed a prestigious four-year MSc in Restorative Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, graduating with Distinction. His advanced training enables him to provide comprehensive restorative, cosmetic and implant treatments to a high standard, including root canal treatment, composite bonding, veneers, crowns, bridges and dental implants.
 
He has a particular interest in minimally invasive, prevention-led care and enjoys combining restorative, cosmetic and orthodontic treatments to achieve natural, long-lasting results. Amit is an experienced Invisalign provider and regularly delivers multidisciplinary smile makeovers, integrating Invisalign, composite bonding and restorative treatment to improve both function and aesthetics.
 
Amit also welcomes referrals from fellow dental professionals for restorative and cosmetic cases, including the management of tooth wear, endodontic treatment, composite bonding, Invisalign, smile makeovers and comprehensive rehabilitation cases.
 
With an analytical eye for precision and a genuine enjoyment of both routine and complex treatment, Amit is dedicated to delivering care that is functional, aesthetic and tailored to each individual patient.
 
Outside of dentistry, Amit is an avid runner and has completed the London Marathon. He also enjoys cinema, travel and adventure, with a particular passion for hiking, scuba diving and skiing.
Highly recommended ********** I went in for a tooth extraction yesterday. It could have been a troublesome extraction which is why I chose to go to an experienced oral surgeon. Twenty minutes after entering the surgery, I was out. Job done. No pain whatsoever. Today I hardly feel anything. Superb job by Dr Shah - one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. A couple of years ago my daughter had an implant done by Dr Shah. It was a brilliant job. That's one of the reasons I went to see him. If you need an experienced, pair hands skillfully working on your precious teeth, Dr Shah is your man.

I visited this practice as a new patient and can honestly say it is one of the best practices I have ever been to. I was greeted by the practice manager Kas on arrival who was friendly and attentive; despite this current pandemic everything was clean and organised and I felt safe. I was then seen by Dr Amit Devlukia for a routine examination and a clean and polish. He was very knowledgeable and had a friendly approach. He was honest, patient and explained things in detail which no other dentist has ever done in the past. He even managed to squeeze me in for my 3D stimulation scan required for invisalign and was very thorough. I'm so glad I changed my previous dentist and will be recommending this practice and Dr Amit to my family and friends..
