Peter A Rabin

Dr Peter Rabin qualified from The London Hospital in 1970 with Honours, gaining his BDS in December 1970 and LDS RCS in January 1971. Following his early role as a Community Health Dental Officer in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, he moved into general dental practice before establishing his own successful practice in Stanmore in 1974.

With more than five decades of experience in dentistry, Dr Rabin has built a respected and varied career combining clinical excellence, public service, media work and sports dentistry. He served as a Magistrate and Justice of the Peace for over 33 years, from 1982 to 2015.

Dr Rabin has extensive experience in dental journalism, medico-legal work and broadcasting. He has advised on medical negligence claims, appeared as the Dental Surgeon on LBC radio with Michael van Stratten, written for the dental press, and was the dental columnist for Woman magazine for more than six years. He also worked in an advisory role for GlaxoSmithKline for several years.

Alongside his general practice work, Dr Rabin has a longstanding involvement in sports dentistry. He has been the Official Club Dental Surgeon for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club since 1992 and for Saracens Rugby Club since 2007, roles he proudly continues today. He has also completed postgraduate training in Sports Injuries in Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital.

Dr Rabin joined Stag Lane Dental Centre in September 2024 and continues to enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, providing experienced, compassionate care in a friendly and professional environment.

Highly recommended ********** I went in for a tooth extraction yesterday. It could have been a troublesome extraction which is why I chose to go to an experienced oral surgeon. Twenty minutes after entering the surgery, I was out. Job done. No pain whatsoever. Today I hardly feel anything. Superb job by Dr Shah - one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. A couple of years ago my daughter had an implant done by Dr Shah. It was a brilliant job. That's one of the reasons I went to see him. If you need an experienced, pair hands skillfully working on your precious teeth, Dr Shah is your man.

I visited this practice as a new patient and can honestly say it is one of the best practices I have ever been to. I was greeted by the practice manager Kas on arrival who was friendly and attentive; despite this current pandemic everything was clean and organised and I felt safe. I was then seen by Dr Amit Devlukia for a routine examination and a clean and polish. He was very knowledgeable and had a friendly approach. He was honest, patient and explained things in detail which no other dentist has ever done in the past. He even managed to squeeze me in for my 3D stimulation scan required for invisalign and was very thorough. I'm so glad I changed my previous dentist and will be recommending this practice and Dr Amit to my family and friends..
