Sejal Bhundia graduated from King’s College London, where she studied Dentistry following a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then completed her vocational training year, which provided a strong foundation in all aspects of general dentistry and helped her develop confidence in both clinical decision-making and patient communication. This experience allowed her to manage a wide variety of cases independently while benefiting from structured support and mentorship that furthered her clinical and professional development.
Following this, Sejal spent several years working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across a number of London hospitals, including the Eastman Dental Institute, where she gained extensive experience managing a broad range of surgical and complex dental cases. Working within this specialty exposed her to oral cancer, facial trauma, and medically complex patients, allowing her to integrate both medical and dental aspects of patient care. This experience significantly strengthened her oral surgery skills, enhanced her ability to manage anxious patients, and increased her confidence in treating individuals with more complex dental and medical needs. It also reinforced the importance of clear communication, empathy and calm reassurance — qualities that continue to underpin her approach in general practice.
With this background, Sejal particularly enjoys oral surgery and takes great satisfaction in helping patients who are in pain, whether through extractions or more comprehensive treatment planning. She is also sedation qualified, which further supports her ability to help anxious patients feel safe, calm and comfortable throughout treatment. Sejal is happy to accept private referrals for extractions and oral surgery and is keen to build long-term collaborative relationships with referring practices.
Alongside her surgical interests, Sejal is passionate about preserving natural dentition wherever possible through restorative treatments such as fillings and crowns. She is currently undertaking a diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry to continue refining and expanding her clinical skills in this area.
Sejal particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and supporting them as they gradually build confidence throughout their treatment journey. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is seeing patients who initially feel anxious become increasingly comfortable and able to tolerate treatment with ease over time.
She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred dentistry in a calm and reassuring environment, ensuring patients feel as comfortable and supported as possible throughout their care.
Outside of dentistry, Sejal enjoys reading, travelling, yoga and baking.
